Apple TV: Express VPN constantly signs out of my account. Support did not help

Every 5-7 days or so, I open the EVPN app on my Apple TV (4K, 2nd gen) only to realize that it has signed out of my account all by itself, and I have to sign in again. This means that all my favorite server locations and settings are wiped out. I opened a ticket (#28856752) and got the usual suggestions to uninstall/reinstall the app; turn off Advanced Protection features; and finally to install the beta app, which was not possible as the beta appears to be full.

Nothing has worked. I asked to keep my ticket open, but support is basically implying that this is as far as they can assist and that they have “documented the issue to investigate further,” something that doesn’t inspire much confidence.

Anyone else with an Apple TV experiencing something similar?

This happens daily to me on my older AppleTV, but I also have the 4K one and that stays signed in forever. :person_shrugging:

Hi u/ramm64. This can sometimes happen when the storage on your AppleTV is full, or close to full. There are instances where our cache gets deleted when the storage is full and the app gets logged out.

Please try freeing up some storage space on your AppleTV and see if that works.

OK, thanks for the response. I will take a look at the storage on my Apple TV, try to clear some space and applications, and monitor the situation.
