I know that using the VPN is supposed to let me have access to UCLA’s campus resources at home, but does using the VPN also give me additional security while using UCLA’s wifi?
It does! All VPNs are encrypted, so you won’t need to worry about attackers peeking at your data when you’re connected to the VPN. If you’re worried about UCLA itself looking at your data, you can use TOR (I believe other VPNs are blocked).
If anything ucla can see what you do on it i believe. I use it to access resources and thats about it. Definitely dont torrent anything on it
Could be wrong tho
Needed for CS 31,32, and 33
If you’re abroad you can access Netflix’s US content
You can use it to access most journals and research papers for free too!
Ucla library/research data bases are only accessible on campus if using campus wifi. Unless you have the UCLA vpn, then you can access it off-campus. Comes in handy for those majors who write lots of research papers.
Could you expand💀? (Dm if you want )

Lnxsrv is used to test in g32 via VPN(more error checking than g++)
