Has anyone tried the Virtual Card Method via Revolut? I’m currently testing this out with a VPN connection to Turkey and the virtual card, but it takes a few days until the money is transferred to my virtual Revolut card that uses Turkish lira as the currency. My Revolut account is from Switzerland though…
You can use ininal. Easy to register online with your passport. Been using it for a while and it works on almost all regional purchases. Can top up via Revolut directly but it has monthly limit. However, for personal use, you won’t hit the limit even if you subscribe Netflix, Disney, Spotify, YouTube all together.

As I made a stupid mistake when (might have deleted a payment plan in Google) setting up my family plan for Google One and YouTube Premium, suddenly and without notification or mail Google cancelled my Disney+ subscription in Turkey/Türkiye.
Tried everything that has worked before with/without VPN. New accounts, old account set to Turkey or reset to Turkey… Either in the App as directly online.
I had it shown in local language (Dutch) with Turkish prices, euro or English with euro or Turkish prices or just in Turkish. Whatever I got: it failed with Revolut, N24 and Ininal (which is working for anything else).
I guess the fun is over for now. Especially since the iOS option seems blocked as well.
Not sure about Google Play codes, etc.
I downloaded Curve and used the Curve card, linked it to my Revolut virtual card with an Egyptian VPN to access Egypt Netflix and got it that way, so I’m certain that way works
i’m from swiss so i can subscribe via turkish vpn with ininal? i’m from switzerland not turkish
I just got ininal but it is declining my card on Disney+, you sure it works?
I tried revolute and i added the currency to the Egyptian currency and didn’t work
So why did you not use the Curve card direkt? and the Revolot account is it an Egyptian account or just the currency ?
Can you provide more info please!
thx i think netflix is less vpn blocked but i was talking about disney+ tho… i think disney+ is impossible to bypass it… hope someone has an idea
The card numbers, or part of them identify from which country they are from, or from the issuing bank.
These international banking cards like Revolut, Wise, Monzo, the cards you get will still be from the country where you reside.
In the case of Wise and Revolut, you can convert an amount of local currency to whatever you want. It is my understanding then that transactions that may be Turkish Lira (TRY) for example, the amount is deducted from TRY balance first. If that balance is insufficient, it’ll just take from account balance and do conversion.
Update: Revolut Virtual Card with turkish currency didn’t work either… literally impossible with connecting via vpn on disney+
i don’t think if someone knows a workaround?
What is curve card direct? And how do we use it for purchases jut like these with Netflix and Disney?
interesting i’ll try this out, someone here said it doesn’t work but let’s see
interesting, i got through with nordVPN on indian netflix
And how did you pay ?
my normal swiss debit card
So to confirm, does Indian Netflix accept foreign card? I also use Indian Netflix now but I am paying a friend who has a main account. We(me and other three friends) pay pretty much double what the said friend actually paid. So this might be our hope to budget more
