I recently changed broadband provider and now it won’t let me use my firestick. How do I get around this?
Highly doubt isp is blocking firestick. More likely blocking one particular service. Try custom DNS first if not then you need vpn
Give PROTON VPN free tier a try or windscribe a try and see if it works
A vpn should do the trick
you have a modded Firestick? Have not heard of ISP blocking Amazon. What do you mean by “blocking firestick”?
What is blocked and not working?
Nord vpn will unblock your service
Maybe just maybe ,you haven’t paired it with new modem!
Thanks will try that! Was looking for different vpns yesterday it looks like you have to pay for them or is there free ones that can be used?
It’s modded so can’t stream any channels
They’re not blocking Amazon. Some Internet providers block “potentially malicious ports.”
IPTV providers use a wide range of ports and may happen to use one being blocked by your ISP. At&t does this, as well as T-Mobile Home Internet.
A VPN works, but usually so will a custom DNS with no impact on speeds.
Proton is free by default, no data caps. Not sure about 4k, but handles 1080 streams fine. Only real restriction vs the paid upgrade is the free version doesn’t let you choose a country. It’s open source and non-profit.
Free will restrict badwidth too much for steaming typically. Try DNS first it’s possible your isp Is only blocking through that
Yeah, you need a VPN
How is it modded, and what are you using to stream these channels?
Thanks. What do I need to do to customise dns?
I’ll look for a free one and try that and hope it works
I used NextDns after setting up a free account, but there’s other options.
