So I’m looking at free addons. I know of a few.

I’ve come across howtomediacenter.com/ and they have amazing guides better than others I’ve seen so I’ll link how to install

(first time I tried this and WOW it’s awesome. You have like 10 second before it buffers. I played one 4k movie , smooth, addons like this I would recommend VPN)

Hermetlk (Using Elementum, use a VPN) Any vpn will do. Set it up on your device and if possible setup to block connections without vpn, any android can do this, so there is no IP leaks. Proton vpn has a free plan. It work good. In proton options turn on kill switch to block connections without vpn

Be careful with elementum as in most states you need a vpn as it uses torrent protocol.

Thank you OP! Elementum worked for me. I’m in Africa so VPN is not a requirement for me.

Allow remote control from applications on other systems seems like a hell no. Sorry I have seen devs get turned inside out and this would open a back door to my (otherwise secure) home. Anyone care to ease my anxiety on it?

How do i install elementum on my tv? I have google chromecast running on this one. Do i have to download the add on straight on my tv or just transfer it to my tv?

Update. Proton vpn free plan doesn’t allow torrenting. Best option is to choose a vpn with port forwarding so you can set it up in elementum via port listen to act as a kill switch. So then elementum doesn’t connect to torrent without a vpn connection.
