So in whatever 5. Version I was using before the 6.0 update I was able to just pull the drop down menu and a message would be displayed “this device is connected to the internet through secure VPN” and tap it to turn off the VPN without having to go into whatever VPN app I’m using.
Not a huge deal tbh but does anyone know if something like this is still possible?
I think it depends on app which support drop down menu toggle. I’m using proton vpn and it’s working like it was on oneui 5.

Yeh it’s running in the background, in 5. I used to be able to click it and it would take me to One UIs own VPN interface.
hmm I never bothered with it particularily, maybe they changed it’s function in the update.
It seems to kinda still work but you have to tap the key icon then tap another prompt on a pop up.

Yes! it’s probably the easiest, you can then customize your quick menu and add the shortcut or even have it on your homescreen.
