I did it on my mac and it worked perfectly, it looks like they aren’t enforcing it as much as alternative stores regionwise

I’m thinking it specifically won’t work for Apple IDs and/or iPhones 15 Pro/Max tied to the EU region.

Differences in spelling is too hard for them.
The US is the Wild West for privacy and consumer protection. The EU has a lot of privacy law and consumer protections that Apple doesn’t want to deal with during Beta.

False, Mac is a different world, iPad and iPhone are region locked as f; it uses tons of heuristic to detect if you are on the EU
