Hey, rather than subscribing yo now tv uk and paying for their sky sports, cinema, entertainment and 4k boost sub and then discovery plus
Can I sub to now tv Ireland sky sports + tnt, cinema, entertainment and 4k boost and use it in the uk?
Does now tv ie have all the channels via the now tv app or do you need discovery plus app for the tnt sports?
As I don’t think discovery plus does 4k 50hz streams for sports where as I assume the now tv sky sports is 4k 50hz when available or 1080p 50hz if not?

I do this and I’m in the UK. I have it just for all the sports, no entertainment / movies and TNT sports is part of the Sports Extra package, you don’t need the discovery plus app.
You do need 2 things as you’ve already mentioned: the Now ie apk and a vpn (I use PIA vpn) to set your device to Ireland. Oh and I used an Irish address generator too to give me a Dublin address
I got my deal just before the new football season started and get the main Sports for €17, Sports extra for €10 and Ultra boost for €3, €30 in total which is a huge saving on the UK Now Sports and I pay by Paypal.
So I’ve managed to get the Ireland now tv to work on My pc with a vpn signed up for mega sports pack and ultra hd but I can’t get it to work on my firestick with the same vpn software windscribe premium set to Dublin.
I’ve used a browser to log in and firestick login but it’s not having none of it .
Looks like you can only use a pc to watch content or am I missing something
As others have said, you’d need a VPN or something like ControlD to get it to work. Otherwise you’ll get an error message about not meeting EU roaming rules by using a UK ip address.

Does the boost allow tnt and sky sports to stream in 4k 50hz or 1080p 50hz?
And what device do you use it on?
Planning on using it on a firestick, nvidia shield and samsung lg smart tv.
So paying via PayPal can I just use a euro to gbp calculator to work out how much u am going to be paying?
Might just get a month of now tv ie sport and the vpn to test it out first.

Yeah, at first it was in 1080p and then last month 4k UHD was available in Ireland - so Sky sports & TNT Ultimate are now in 4k. It’s worth mentioning too that Premier Sports channels are also included in the Sports Extra package and Premier Sports 1 usually always has 1 live 3pm premier league match every Saturday - Premier Sports is 1080p though.
I’m using a 3rd gen Fire tv cube but I believe it still works on 4K Max firesticks.
When signing up you also need to use the NOW tv Ireland site (otherwise the UK site will load) and set your browser to Ireland too with a vpn, if doing this part on a laptop / pc / tablet etc. https://www.nowtv.com/ie/
I just used my normal GBP sterling Paypal account, NOW bills in Euros and Paypal converts it. The way NOW bills you is like in 3 separate times: once for Sports @ €17 = £14.85 then for Sports Extra @ €10 = £8.73 then for Boost @ €3 = £2.64 so it works out between £26 - £27 ish per month in total, it varies by a few pence each month due to Paypal’s € to £ conversion rates on the day.
At the moment that €27 full sports bundle is still available on a 12 month offer, or 1 month rolling for €30 per month. They’ll offer Boost for free for the first month then it’s €5 a month after… but if you go to cancel boost it will usually offer it at a discount.
I used it with no problem at all in Germany for months. The only stipulations to be able to use it abroad are that the payment method is registered to an Irish address and that the account is used in Ireland at least once every 30 days. As long as those two points are covered NowTV Ireland can be used abroad just fine.
