Is it worth installing Avast Online Security extension?

I’m mostly questioning whether or not Firefox’s cross-site tracker blocking is enough, or should I also add a secondary protection just in case? The reason I’m asking is because I love the way how Firefox, even though these are trackers, keeps everything organized with a simple and easy-to-understand design.

I also don’t want the two blockers to be interfering with each other, such as doing a competition on who blocks the most same trackers as the first one could block anyway to begin with.

Don’t install it. Firefox Tracking Protection (and uBlock Origin) are enough.

And in general, don’t install extensions from (free) antiviruses, as they often spy on users and sell their data. Avast actually did this recently.

Don’t use Avast. They have been reported to sell your browser history Leaked Documents Expose the Secretive Market for Your Web Browsing Data

Thanks for the information, I didn’t know that’s a thing with them.
