My VPN is off, I checked on all devices but it still keeps saying that my vpn is on and won’t let me watch shows.
If Netflix thinks your VPN is on even when it’s off, try restarting your router to refresh your IP address and clearing the cache and cookies in your browser settings. Use an IP checker to ensure your IP isn’t associated with a VPN, and make sure no proxy settings are enabled on your device. Sometimes, ISPs assign IP addresses previously used by VPNs, so contacting your ISP to request a new IP address can also help. These steps should resolve the issue.
This happened to me today now. Using cell phone data Netflix no like. Turned on VPN and now it acts fine. So weird. Gonna wait it out I guess and see what happens.

It would appear that your public IP address was flagged as that of a VPN provider.
Your only option - as far as I’m concerned, is to try and get a new IP. This typically involves resetting your ISP equipment/power cycle for about a minute or longer. If that doesn’t get you a new IP, you may need to use a 3rd-party router and MAC spoof its WAN port (ASUS supports this) and you may get a new IP.
What causes this? Well, sometimes if Netflix detects VPN activity from your IP (maybe too many accounts connecting from it) then they assume it’s a VPN and ban it. This can happen if you are running anything on your network or devices that make YOU an exit node.
Make sure if using an android device to force close the apps, as simply exiting out doesn’t close them
I’m in the same boat except I don’t have a VPN at all. It’s across all our profiles. They only thing that has worked for a little while was getting a new IP and for spectrum customers means a new modem.

Just got Netflix a week ago. Watched a movie earlier today with no issue. No VPN turned on. Now, like 2 hours later, I get on again with no VPN turned on and it’s saying I have a VPN turned on and the only way I can watch is if I actually do turn it on. Sucks cause now I can’t watch some of the stuff that I was watching before.
Yeah the same thing’s happening to me rn. I started using VPNs since they added WWE to Netflix. And before I could turn it on and off just fine. Since last night though, my profile has just been limited on all devices. It even shows a default profile icon, and not the one I have selected. I have my VPNs completely off and it’s still doing it, even on the TV which I never attached a VPN to idk wtf’s happening

I’m having this issue lately. Netflix ONLY works when I’m connected to a VPN. It doesn’t work when I’m not. It’s backwards. Has anyone successfully gotten Netflix to “unblock” their IP address?
You can’t use netflix without vpn? Is it cuz of the shows or in general the whole app doesn’t work without it?
Try using another profile from the five profiles and see if the problem is on all profiles. The other profiles were working fine, only mine had an issue (also happened after a week or so of getting netflix). The issue was fixed on it’s own in a day or two
This just happened to me today since I can only watch NXT and smack down on vpn since I live in the U.S, just now I got the default icon and the your using a vpn noti today
I stopped using Netflix on VPN for a day or two and it fixed itself.
