Surfshark blocked by Turkish ISP turktelekom/ttnet

As the title suggests I’m having no luck connecting with any of the methods you have available (with the apps or manually) anyone else encountering this? is there a solution? shark-china.com doesn’t seem to be blocked yet but the apps can’t use it to login. I can connect to surfshark servers when I’m using another VPN but as soon as I disconnect from the other VPN surfshark connection also drops.

Hi there. We’re aware of the increased blocking of Surfshark services by Turkish ISP Turk Telekom/TTNET. Currently, this issue is affecting many users in Turkey. Connecting via OpenVPN or Wireguard manually can often help bypass these network restrictions. Here’s a guide on how to set it up.

In case that doesn’t help, our support team would gladly look into your case and help configure your VPN setup to get you connected. You can reach out to them at [email protected] or via live chat on our website here.

Try openvpn app with openvpn dns on any UDP server (TCP didn’t work for me on Windows)

Encryption of dns may solve your issue. I had the same issue in another country.

Hi, is this trick working? When I check this https://cachecheck.opendns.com/ Website with your servers ı try OpenVPN, Wireguard.com, ikev2 server IP s with this site https://web-tester.appinchina.co/

Some IP s are working. Is it true?

Thank You

how do you use openvpn dns? the openvpn app doesn’t work with UDP or TCP.
it just says this over and over:

Tue Aug 6 18:31:03 2024 TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds (check your network connectivity)
Tue Aug 6 18:31:03 2024 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed
Tue Aug 6 18:31:03 2024 Fatal TLS error (check_tls_errors_co), restarting

I used 192.168.47.254 on network adapter settings on windows. It is where ipv4 settings are in.
