I’ve been searching a new VPN service and stumbled upon Surfshark. It’s caught my attention with its unlimited devices policy and some pretty impressive features like CleanWeb, which supposedly blocks ads, trackers, and malicious websites. Plus, the Whitelister feature, which allows certain apps or websites to bypass the VPN, sounds super handy for banking apps and such. Before I dive in, though, I wanted to reach out and see if anyone here has firsthand experience with Surfshark. I’ve seen a mix of reviews online, but I’m looking for some real, user-based feedback. How do you find its performance, especially in terms of speed and reliability? Is it as good at unblocking content (like Netflix libraries from other countries) as the reviews suggest? I’m also curious about its security and privacy capabilities. With all the data breaches and snooping concerns these days, I want to make sure I’m choosing a VPN that truly keeps my online activity private.
I would go with proton plus you get a vpn with port forwarding as well as no logs and outside the USA plus you get proton email it’s considered one of the most private emails out there.
My husband uses it but isn’t going to reup it when the subscription expires. Soooo much lag.
From my experience they’re not that bad, speed are decent most of the time (tho sometimes connecting is pain), I can summarize it as the simple vpn that allows you to connect to a fuck ton of devices. Streaming Netflix for other Region are hit and miss so I can agree on that. The customer service team ofc will try to help fix things first then refund (as a business you don’t really want to refund). I mean it’s a haste but from my time reviewing others it’s mostly all the same (pure will try offering you other than full refund, etc)
I’ve been using Surfshark for several years and it’s been a solid experience. The two or three times I needed to reach out to customer service for additional settings and info, I received fast and accurate responses. Unlimited devices is great, too.
