I haven’t used ProtonVPN in a while, and when I went to use it again, I realized that I don’t remember my username, but when I click on “Forgot Username”, the website just doesn’t load. I went to just check the normal “protonvpn.com” website, and it also doesn’t work. This is what it says
Did you try another web browser? Would you mind letting us know from which country you’re trying to connect?
I tried both the Firefox and Chrome browsers, and I am trying to connect from Egypt.
If you’re not able to reach our website, you can download our Proton VPN client from our GitHub: https://github.com/ProtonVPN/win-app/releases
After installing and connecting to our VPN, you should be able to reach our website without issue.
Moreover, if you don’t have a Proton VPN account already, but you have an Android device available, you can log in without an account via the Android app.
The problem is, I already have an account, and the client downloaded. It’s just that I don’t remember the account’s username. So when I click on “Forgot Username”, nothing happens because the website isn’t working for me.
Was this a paid account? If so, we might be able to locate it through the payment details. If this is the case, please email us directly at [email protected] so we can try locating the username.
Another option would be to try using the Tor browser to access our website.
The account wasn’t paid, but I was able to open the website when I downloaded the Windscribe VPN and changed my location, so maybe the problem was with my country.

Now I have an entirely different problem. I reset my password as well, but it keeps saying the login credentials are wrong. Even though I copy and pasted the password, so it’s not possible for it to be wrong.
Edit: Nvm, I just had to put in my email in the username section, instead of the username itself
