Trying to get Sonicwall Mobile Connect to work but VPN login fails

TZ370 with SonicOS 7.0.1-5018 firmware

I get as far as being able to enter the username and password in the Windows Security dialog box but when I hit Ok VPN connection just says failed to log in. I doublechecked all the settings as per the link below and everything is set properly. Any ideas?

LocalDomain user or LDAP ? If LDAP make sure to enter the domain name correctly, it’s case sensitive. User is not member of ‘SSLVPN Services’ ? Post the log message from the Sonicwal, it will tell you (us) more.

Mobile connect is end of life on windows, use net extender instead. Also upgrade your firmware - you are running a very old version and will run into manyyy issues lol. Latest firmware is a lot more stable.

We ran into this issue before, and it was the server address field. Put in https://vpn.server.com:4433 and worked. If you’re not using 443 you have to type it out this way.

LocalDomain and the user is a member of SSLVPN Services. Will try to get a log for you.

Its actually a Mac that Mobile Connect will be installed on but I am testing it on a Windows 10 machine. Any chance I will get a different result when its set up on MacOS?
