Interesting. I was cut off a week or two ago. So i was using another account with legit yt premium. Then yesterday i just opened up my previous accnt (argentina) and it suggested me to resume my premium family plan but in USD as suggested here. But i used no VPN or whatsoever this time. Yt just naturally suggested me to subscribe.

So here i am back with argentina family plan :slight_smile:

I use s24 ultra btw.

Glad I stumbled on this. My argentina yt premium expired today because of payment method.

Checked the yt app and it showed the renew option $2…USD allowed me to renew using latitude 28 CC.never had to use vpn (from aus)

I previously had Argentina Family membership that expired yesterday.

  1. I am on a Samsung phone and did everything through that.

  2. I went to pay.google.com then deleted all my payment methods

  3. I downloaded Urban VPN from the play store and went to the free option and selected Argentina

  4. I went back to pay.google.com and added a MasterCard and put the address for some random library in Argentina and saved. it went through without issue.

  5. I opened google play and clicked DMG name/icon at the top right and went into settings then General then Account and device preferences and tried to change my country by tapping on it but nothing happened.

  6. I had to go to my Google family through Chrome browser and delete my family ( I was admin, you might need to just leave group of you are just a member)

  7. I closed all apps and turned off VPN then waited a couple minutes and turned on VPN again (probably not necessary but meh)

  8. Went back into play store into account and device preferences and then I was able to see Argentina, selected it and it restarted Google Play. Checked and my country showed Argentina.

  9. I know comments say to wait 1-2 hours but I closed all apps and opened up YouTube after 2 minutes, went on my name, gear icon for settings at the top right then purchases and memberships.

  10. I clicked on either renew or the family plan (there is also individual but I wanted family). The price shows sup as $4.xx/month and I selected it and then the card I added with the Argentina address and it processed everything fine.

Confirm, I have two youtube family premium accounts almost two-years ago created, paying via revolut.10 euro, both. All good, only thing in playstore when searchin an app from Italy(my current country) doesn’t appear, I have to download it manual. It’s OK, small.problem.

Well, followed step by step with a Samsung phone, get stuck get the ARS instead of USD, do I have to turn off vpn for this step? I’ve tried with killing the app

I made it but it only let me make individual plan and not a family one. if i force from google to open the family plan subscription to the app it says “manage” and if i press manage it prompts me to make individual plan any ideas?

Why not just sign up for the yearly plan that is pinned for $26 dollars and save yourself the headache of doing it yourself? Paying 2.19 per month equates to 26.28.

Weird. Did the steps but cant get it to work. First changed google account address, then deleted all payment methods, readded personal visa card with Argentinian billing address, turn on VPN, changed Google play store location, open YT music, still see prices in ARS. Killing apps and restarting phone had no effect… am on S24+, also not seeing the “… with your Samsung Galaxy device” part on the YT premium add screen.

How to add family members? I get message “can’t join family group”, not in the same country as person who invited you

Never mind, I changed country to Argentina on google account and with urban vpn I payed for family memership from my main account

How did you get to add a cc successfully with an Argentinian address if the billing address is not Argentinian. Ive been testing my cc’s attaching a random Argentinian address and keep getting OR_CCR_105 error
