Oh I didn’t know that. Haven’t met that many isfahanis to be honest. Last year I went there and it seemed fairly loose and liberal to me, lots of girls barely had hijab even though it was months before the protests! Although Isfahan is full of tourists maybe so they were from other places. I have heard some isfahanis are particularly khaye maal towards the regime but I haven’t met any.
