Are there specific tasks in which I should turn off my vpn? Do I always need it on?
I would use it for any banking or data sensitive tasks, and if your cell network slows media streaming to 720p, use it for that to bypass the stream quality limitation.
I set up an automation in the shortcuts app. Whenever I open YouTube/banking app, it turns on the vpn. When I close said app, it automatically turns vpn off. No battery waste, no security risks. Works flawlessly.
Never? I leave mine on 24/7, 365. I have it split-tunneled so of course not everything is going through my VPN, but it could be.
Doe vpn really changes ones location and is it really worth subscribing to if on wants to change location whilst streaming
Can you explain what you mean about VPNs protecting against Google? Like, if I’m logged into YouTube, and I open up Google and do a search, isn’t that search logged, regardless of my connection or VPN because I’m logged in?
Thanks, I’m not at all informed about the usages and benefits of a VPN so I appreciate this alot.
How do you know your VPN provider will not misuse your banking data?
Use a trustworthy VPN thats outsider examined and acclaimed.
Much grateful, will look into them
